This page describes the standards and processes that govern all content published on Build Energy Hub. Our editorial policy exists to ensure that every article we publish is accurate, transparent, and genuinely useful to our readers.
1. Mission and Editorial Independence
Build Energy Hub’s mission is to provide accurate, factual, and independently reported coverage of the intersection of energy infrastructure and AI-driven power demand. Our editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, affiliate partners, and sponsors. No third party has the ability to direct, alter, or pre-approve our editorial content.
2. Research Standards
Every article published on Build Energy Hub must meet the following research standards:
- Primary sources: Claims are supported by primary sources wherever possible, including government agency reports (EIA, DOE, NRC, FERC), regulatory filings, academic publications, and official company announcements.
- Named sources: When citing statistics or data, we name the source organization in the article text (e.g., “According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration…”).
- Date transparency: Statistics more than 24 months old are noted with their original publication date.
- No fabrication: We do not publish statistics, studies, or company announcements that we cannot verify. If a figure cannot be sourced, it is not published.
- End-of-article sources list: Articles include a Sources section at the end listing the primary sources referenced in the piece, with hyperlinks where the original source provides a public URL.
3. AI-Assisted Research and Writing
Build Energy Hub uses AI tools in the research and drafting process. Specifically:
- Research: We use AI-assisted search tools to surface relevant news, regulatory filings, and market data from the current news cycle.
- Drafting: Initial article drafts may be produced with AI writing assistance based on our research inputs.
- Editorial review: All AI-assisted content is subject to editorial review against our accuracy and sourcing standards before publication.
- No hallucinations policy: We do not publish AI-generated statistics or claims that are not grounded in verifiable source material. If AI tools generate unsupported figures, those figures are removed or replaced with cited data.
We disclose the use of AI tools in our publishing process because transparency is a core editorial value.
4. Financial and Investment Content
Build Energy Hub does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content is informational and educational. We do not recommend buying, selling, or holding any security, commodity, ETF, or other financial product. Readers should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
5. Affiliate Relationships and Advertising
Build Energy Hub participates in affiliate programs. When readers click certain links on our site and make a purchase or sign up, we may receive a commission. Affiliate relationships do not influence which topics we cover, how we cover them, or the conclusions we reach. Affiliate links are disclosed on pages where they appear.

6. Corrections Policy
We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. If an article contains a factual error:
- Minor corrections (typos, formatting): Corrected without a formal notice.
- Factual corrections: The corrected article includes a correction note at the bottom identifying what was changed and when.
- Significant errors: A correction notice is published as a standalone update if the original error was material.

7. Complaints
Readers who wish to raise a concern about editorial content may contact us at contact@buildenergyhub.com. We will acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and respond substantively within 10 business days.
8. Ownership and Funding
Build Energy Hub is independently owned and operated. The publication is funded through two clearly disclosed revenue sources:
- Display advertising served via the Google Publisher Network. Advertisers have no role in topic selection or editorial direction.
- Affiliate commissions earned when readers sign up for or purchase products through specifically marked affiliate links. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on the pages where they appear and do not influence editorial coverage.
Build Energy Hub is not owned by, funded by, or operationally affiliated with any energy company, utility, technology vendor, hyperscaler, hardware manufacturer, or financial services firm. We accept no sponsored content, paid placements, native advertising, or pay-for-coverage arrangements. We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable mentions, link placement, or topic selection.

9. Editorial Byline
Articles on Build Energy Hub are published under the byline Alex Reid. This byline represents the publication’s editorial output rather than a single individual contributor. Our editorial process — including how AI tools are used and how human review is applied — is described in Section 3 above.
